With a strong presence across Canada and internationally, TakingITGlobal has engaged hundreds of thousands of young people through education, civic engagement, and digital innovation initiatives, often in partnership with leading institutions and government bodies.
About Illuminate Universe
Illuminate Universe is a global education and leadership platform that has supported over 20,000+ learners across 100+ partnerships spanning government, corporate, and nonprofit sectors. With roots in experiential learning and innovation, Illuminate designs programs that integrate real-world projects, mentorship, and accredited learning pathways to equip the next generation of leaders with both vision and execution capability.

Join Us to Celebrate and Fund Essential Programs That Transform Lives and Create Lasting Impact
More than just dresses, this initiative is designed as a transformative learning experience grounded in experiential education. Each cohort welcomes 100 scholars from around the world, selected to participate in a journey that combines confidence, capability, and community. Scholars receive a dress of their choice for prom season—serving as both a symbol and celebration of their potential—alongside access to a fully sponsored Ontario Grade 12 (OSSD) credit experience.
Through this academic and project-based component, scholars develop and present an AI or Financial Literacy initiative, building a portfolio that reflects both intellectual depth and real-world application.
Participants are also invited to attend leadership summits hosted in cities around the world, and are matched with mentors from leading global institutions, including Fortune 100 companies and Ivy League networks.
Beyond the program, scholars join a lifelong community—gaining continued access to learning resources, career opportunities, and a network of peers committed to growth, leadership, and meaningful impact.
